Bush's address to Iraqi citizens, "Vote, I need the oil."

Just in case we ever wondered if it was, all about the oil..

uhoh, I see that I had addess, instead of address, in that post all day long. That's what you get when you try to blog in the early am, and you are just not an early am person.

Bush keeps telling the people of Iraq to go vote, and defy the terrorists.

To show how safe it is for Iraqi citizens to vote, I think that Bush should personally show-up in Baghdad on election day (with no guard detail, so he'd be just like voting Iraqi), and hang out around the polling areas. Y'know, talking with "the people", and what not.

Either that, or send someone like Donald Rumsfeld, or Condi Rice, or whomever, to do the same. After all, they wouldn't ask the Iraqi people to do anything they wouldn't do, right?

I agree. The fact that he could hold a press conference and ask the citzens of that country that we have bombed extensively, and are stripping of it's natural resources, to "defy the terrorists," shows the extent of his megalomania and arrogance. I've read a few articles that present a case that he has a significant mental health disorder. I believe he does.
Let him be the first in line at the Iraqi polls, and then he can show the people how to "defy the terrorists." And while he is standing at the polls, maybe he can shout, "Bring It On"
