Was he wired in all three debates? Well, it's either that, or he has a funky thing for snakes............Why did the NY Times kill this story about Bush being wired 3x??

This whole thing really bugged me (no pun intended). The brazen denial - during the campaign - of anything being underneath his jacket is startling, to say the least.

Of course, after the election, I read that the Secret Service reported it to have been a bullet proof vest (which it very well may have been). But why this couldn't have been revealed during the campaign is beyond me. It seems like a perfectly reasonable precaution. Are Bush & Co. really that focused on his 'Tough Texan' image?

Take care.

It doesn't look like a bulletproof vest to me, though. What is that wire going down his back? I had heard that it was some type of medical device that is used to protect weak hearts. That made sense to me, givng this a mind body, wholistic connection, his heart should be breaking.
But, I have read numerous articles since then on the "hump,", and have come to the conclusion that it is a wire. Someone had to feed him the answers. I think that the Secret Service are becoming more and more dumbed down since Bush took office. I mean, why would you put a bullet proof vest on someone whose chest area is hidden by a podium?. Wouldn't a sniper just go for the head? Why shoot through a podium?
The fact that the NY Times didn't publish the story, and that the reporter could not get anothe rmajor newspaper to publish it, makes me inclined to go with the wire story. This gets more eerie every day. thanks for stopping by! I am going to post on Hotel Rwanda soon. I had to have time to sort out my feelings about it. It was a powerful flic.
