About the Filibuster, and the judges that the Republicans desperately want appointed

First, take action Now!--go HERE to tell your Senator that you do not want the Filibuster busted.
The, read this oped from USA today on the judges that are at the debate over the destruction of the Filibuster. Here's a bit about one:

William Pryor. A former Alabama attorney general, Pryor is already an appeals court judge by temporary appointment. Critics have objected to his earlier comments and writings on abortion, separation of church and state, the voting-rights law and gays. He called the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade abortion decision an abomination and attacked a 2003 gay-rights decision as giving the green light to bestiality, incest and pedophilia. Defenders note he defied right-wing pressure and upheld the law in cases involving the Ten Commandments and Terri Schiavo's feeding tube. ......

The irony of a Republican Senate trying to break the Filibuster in order to appoint radical conservative judges is.. beyond ironic. From Dr. Hager's wife's story of years of forced anal sex, to the open admissions of bestiality by anti abortion extremist Horsley, to the recent allegations of pedophilia and misuse of office by the mayor of Spokane, Washington, trying to force that weird psuedo Christian agenda of hate, non-tolerance, racism, sexism, war and agression, and the presently popular--I can have anal and other types of sex, cause I'm a powerful Republican leader, but you can't, America, theme by busting the Filibuster is just, well bizarre.

Had enough of the hypocrisy of the radical Republican right wing trying to force their agenda on you with these obviously radical conservative appointments? You can also go HERE to help keep the Filibuster in place, and HERE.

Protect your rights, while you still can. The decisions that these Republican potential judicial appointees will make will affect your future. Block them while we still can.
