Everyone needs to read Today in Iraq, today---as the dying mount up the past few days, wolfowitz is praised by rumsfield for being the liberty belle

This is the two year anniversary of the GWB saying that the "Mission in Iraq Was Accomplished"
--from Today in Iraq
"It was two years ago today that President Bush declared the end of major combat operations in Iraq beneath a banner that proclaimed "Mission Accomplished." The "Mission Accomplished" boast has been mocked many times since then because of the failed search for weapons of mass destruction and the continuing violence in Iraq. Nearly 16-hundred U-S troops have been killed in Iraq since the start of the war in March 2003."

yesterday, 17 bombs went off in and around Baghdad--10 American soldiers were killed in the past few days--50 Iraqi were killed, 114 wounded---in one DAY--MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
and..

"Makes me
want to puke. (me too) "At a ceremony on a Pentagon parade ground that overlooks the Potomac River, Wolfowitz reviewed a military honor guard and was presented with a Defense Department medal for distinguished public service which cited him as an "internationally recognized voice for freedom." Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld praised his top deputy for intellectual firepower and perseverance, noting that he was a leading force in Rumsfield drive to modernize the military. "The threatened, the oppressed and the persecuted around the world must know in their hearts that they had a friend in Paul Wolfowitz," Rumsfeld said. "You are one of those rare people who, as the Talmud puts it, would rather light candles than curse the darkness."
While Wolfowitz and Rumsfield hold hand in the bluebonnets,
these men are trying to just live again, without the limbs they used to have.....and these, well, read the story..
