Is there anyone left in Iraq?

"Is there anyone left other than delusional neocons, Bush-admin propagandists and personality-disordered jingoists who could say we have planted a flowering democracy in Iraq rather than opened a can of virulent worms? " Necessary reading

Sadly, Medbh, there ARE people left there. Innocent victims...
this includes Iraqi women, children and men... not to mention the men and women who are over there in the name of "democracy" from Here.

Sad state of affairs, ain't it?

yes, I agree, it is a very sad state of affairs. The more I read, the worse it gets. The PDA has sponsored yet another call to withdraw our forces from Iraq. I signed it. CODEPINK is starting another campaign to help the victims of Fallujah, although the northern Iraq towns that Operation Matador were in are nw being called "small Fallujahs, due to the destruction suffered there." The only thing I can say is that as long as people oppose what GWB and company and other maniacs are doing to innocent people, there is hope.
