The War After the War ...what the Bush administration doesn't want you to see

"We declared a war on terror and those who practice terror," said Ritter. "Are we going to declare war on ourselves?"

Rumsfeld braces for more violence in Iraq
WASHINGTON (AP) — Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said Sunday he is bracing for even more violence in Iraq and acknowledged that the insurgency "could go on for any number of years."
---HE is bracing for more violence? Start a war, and then retire, pockets full from Halliburton et al profits? How many people have died in Iraq since the wonderfully democratic elections??????

It is getting more and more horrific at every turn. I am starting to feel like a kid again when Tricky Dick was running around raising Cain!

My favorite bumpersticker-- "If you're not appalled, you haven't been paying attention."

I think this is even worse than the Nixon years.

thank you for the Helliburton links, Thom H! They have prompted a letter to the editor. Will it be published? Who knows? This does get more and more appalling each day. Pax, I'm glad I'm not a kid again, though. Or it would be in the database and then shipped off to war, I'm sure. American parents should be very frightened, especially in light of Rumf*'s 12, 14, 6, 8 year Iraq war aka/freedom killing, timeframe.
