The Soldiers in Iraq's "Yanke Doodle Dandy" 2005.......

from Newsweek...Soldier Rap, The Pulse of War
The sound may be raw, but the lyrics tell a story from Iraq that you don't often hear—from the soldiers on the streets....

and just in case you haven't viewed it yet, the Royal Guards

and, I know that I posted on this already, but the number discrepancy is boggling, if true, and needs an accounting of. Is the Butcher's Bill really over 8,000 American soldiers, not 1,683, because the DOD does not count the women and men who die en route or at Landstuhl and other hospitals? Is it possible for the DOD reporting to be that skewed? I haven't found any concrete links to this yet, but will keep looking.

it's 2005...isn't it time....for a Department of Peace??????
