3. An "us versus them" mentality
4. Punitive in nature
5. Overwhelming service
6. Followers in pain
7. Closed communication
8. Legalism
9. No objective accountability
10. Labeling

He replaced one addiction--the alcohol-- with another--evangelical religion.
Re Cindy Sheehan, I would say his actions demonstrate 2,3,4, 7 and 9.
He's an addict.
She represents accountability for one's actions.
The scariest thing in the world for an addict. Truth, reality, and actually confronting and taking responsibility for your own actions. Jihad Junkie George no can do...
